Most Exciting Players in the NFL

Tyreek Hill

Whether it’s on special teams or on offense, he is the type of player that changes the momentum in games. His 17.0 yards per reception in 2018 rank 4th in the league.  His 1479 receiving yards rank 4th in the NFL and his 12 touchdowns are the third most in the league among receivers. But what makes Tyreek Hill even more electrifying is his play in special teams.  Over his career, he has had 4 punt return touchdowns and 13 returns of 20 or more yards. Some people don’t understand the importance of setting up your offense with great field position.  The prime example of being an electrifying player is performing in the clutch. In week 14’s thriller against the Baltimore Ravens, the Chiefs were down by seven with 1:29 left on the clock. With 4th and 9, Hill makes an acrobatic catch to continue the scoring drive for the Chiefs. Tyreek Hill is the definition of a game changer and definitely one of the most exciting players to watch every week.

Saquon Barkley

Previously on my “Fantasy Busts of the Year”, Saquon Barkley has done everything to prove me wrong. Not only is he an explosive runner, but he is heavily involved in the passing game. SaQUAD (named after his massive calves) gained the most all-purpose yards in the league in 2018. His insane athleticism is shown through his combination of strength, speed and hurdle ability. Barkley ran for the second most yards in the league, 5.0 ypc, and a total of 15 touchdowns. In a New York offense that posses nothing other than Odell Beckham Jr. and Saquon Barkley, Barkley does an amazing job of carrying his team. With plenty of gas left in the tank, Saquon is sure to impress for many years to come.

Josh Allen

The Bills. I gotta give Sean McDermott credit, he made this team a defensive powerhouse. But what grabs my eye every time I watch a game is Josh Allen running around like hes playing recess football. Josh Allen not only passed for over 2,000 yards in 12 games, but he ran for over 600 yards, which lead the team (yes the team that has Lesean McCoy and had the number 1 rushing offense 2 years ago). To be an exciting player is to do the unexpected. Well no one ever expected Josh Allen to do anything. Instead, Allen constantly made plays with his cannon arm and his feet. His dual threat talent has impressed so many fans, that people call him “the next Michael Vick”.  Even though that is a stretch, I guarantee that Josh Allen will dazzle the eyes of hundreds of table smashing Bills fans for many more seasons.
